Welcome to SharonsBrain.

This site began on August 6th, 1996 at 5:10 in the morning when I found my wife, Sharon, on the floor dying of a ruptured brain aneurysm. On the left is Sharon in 1996 before the Aneurysm. On the right, Sharon thirteen years after the Aneurysm. A Brain Injury. There had been no warning. Nothing to prepare any of us for what we were about to go through.

This site now has a two fold mission: First off it is to tell the story of Sharon Gormans brain injury. Secondly it is to help others prepare for the journey they are about to take. It is a journey of Hope and Fears, Of terrific Joy and Desperation.

Please start at "Brain Calendar" in the blue Navigation block to the left. The rest of the site will be put together as I have time.
